I have this problem every time I run a race. I train and train, then post-race, my rest days turn into a running slump. I’ve only gotten out there once this week. It’s especially bad when I don’t have anything on my race calendar. I have another race next weekend, the MRTT Summer Virtual – Running Mad – with my sole sisters. I need to get back out there and get some miles in.
How do you deal with the post-race slump? How do you keep motivation if you don’t have a race coming up?
