I’m a wife, a working mom, and a runner. I ran competitively in high school, and got lazy in college (and beyond!). I started running again after my son was born to lose weight, using the Couch to 5K (C25K) approach, and in the fall of 2011, I began training for my first half marathon.
In February 2012, I found out I was pregnant again in the middle of training, and eventually completed the Disney Princess Half Marathon at 8 weeks pregnant… and promptly quit running (again).
Since my daughter was born in October 2012, my husband & I have both recommitted to getting and staying healthy, so I’m back on the running track, and hoping to stay here this time!
